The Entrepreneur and The Entrepreneurial Mindset

One of the usual questions entrepreneurs ask in starting a business is finding out whether they have what it takes to succeed in entrepreneurship.

“Do I have the right characteristics of an entrepreneur?”
You could probably think of many words to describe an entrepreneur.

Many would associate entrepreneurial success with the ability of a person to acquire or possess certain skills - such as business skills and technical skills, and probably, more specialized skills.
"Many would associate entrepreneurial success with the ability of a person to acquire or possess certain skills - such as business skills and technical skills, and probably, more specialized skills.
However, despite the acquired skills and knowledge one might have, you might ask:

“How come we see people leaving the business environment they are in, while others are thriving?”
Many people would trust that such skills and knowledge would enable the entrepreneur to perform the duties of running an enterprise; and ultimately, lead the business organization with the desired results.
What sets an effective entrepreneurial person apart from the crowd?

While some business skills may be essential and may provide access to helpful tools in running an enterprise, an entrepreneur must learn to think beyond the ordinary circumstance and approach the entrepreneurial process with creative strategies.

Thinking critically and finding solutions to business problems that may arise both in the short-term and the long-term period should characterize the entrepreneurial mindset of a person.
Beyond the technical skills, an entrepreneur must possess the ability to solve problems.

Entrepreneurship requires creative approaches in tackling issues and facing obstacles, while at the same time, seeing opportunities.
Entrepreneurs are innovative and goal-oriented. They are passionate and determined to achieve their vision. They look at challenges in a positive way and take on a strategy for their organization with balanced, calculated risks.

Entrepreneurs possess unique strength and confidence that drive others to participate and work on recognized goals.
Given these entrepreneurial characteristics, the question to ask therefore as a would-be entrepreneur is, “Am I capable, willing, and ready to take on the challenge?”

If you have seen the article: 'How Businesses Respond to Digital Marketing' published at Privilege Digital Media, you would have noticed that 'website' is one of the primary channels of choice for digital marketing of most small businesses (as surveyed by Clutch).

Next to social media that earned eighty-one percent (81%), website ranked second on digital marketing to invest on with seventy-eight percent (78%) most favoured by digital marketers of businesses.

That outcome is not surprising though, because, no matter how big or small your business is, it is important that your customers or clients can easily get information about your business online.

And what a better way to satisfy that need than by creating a website of your own.
